1. Being able to watch a J-Horror in Japan
Japanese horror films, or J-Horror as they are commonly known in Japan, are notorious for being chilling and much scarier than the Hollywood kind. But why? Well, for a start, the Japanese use simplicity in all they do. J-Horror films use limited special effects, instead opting for unique techniques to play with the viewers mind. American remakes of popular J-Horror films, including The Ring (Ringu) and The Grudge (Ju-On) are not a patch on the eerie and unforgettable Japanese scenes and I would urge you to watch the originals.
